MRSM Pertama

Kolej MARA Seremban merupakan salah satu Institusi Pendidikan MARA Ia bermula dengan Maktab Rendah Sains MARA (MRSM) pertama di Malaysia dikenali dengan nama MRSM Seremban yang telah ditubuhkan pada tahun 1972. 150 pelajar lelaki dari seluruh Malaysia telah mendaftar di MRSM Seremban yang menawarkan kurukulum standard sekolah menengah dari tingkatan 1 sehingga tingkatan 5. Program ini berakhir pada tahun 1985.

Matrikulasi UKM

In 1978, the college introduced the Science Matriculation Programme by University Kebangsaan Malaya. It was conducted parallel to the existing secondary school curriculum.

GCE A Level

The college then introduced the GCE A-Levels programme in 1985, however the programme ceased in 1988.

NCU Degree

The college introduced another programme known as the Northen Consortium University Degree Programme in 1988.

Evousi

The college has changed its name to Kolej Pengajian Tinggi MARA. It was administrated by Yayasan Pelajaran MARA. Then, MARA took over the administration in 1992, and reinstated the UKM Matriculation Programme with two additional courses, which were Science and Accounting.

Nama semasa

The college became formally officiated as Kolej MARA Seremban on the 3rd of February 1994.

Matrikulasi

In 2000, The UKM Matriculation Programme was abolished to make way for the Malaysian Education Ministry Matriculation Programme. This change was made as the Ministry of Education Malaysia took over all matriculation programmes in the country to unify the curriculum. The programme ended on the 14th of April 2005.

A Level

The GCE A Levels programme was reinstated in 2002, and is still being offered by the college to this day.

Program Diploma International Baccalaureate (IB)

The college received the International Baccalaurate World School certification and was authorised to offer the IB Diploma Programme in April 2005.

Pertukaran Pengawal Program

The college was then put under the administration of a sub division of MARA, the MARA Higher Education Department on the 11th of January 2007.

Cambridge A Level

The college now prides itself as today one of the few institutions in Malaysia that offers both the A Level and IB Diploma Programme. It has also succeeded in sending a number of academically brilliant students for further studies at numerous universities outside Malaysia especially in the UK, New Zealand and Australia to name a few.
